How neurological testing works
1
Contact
Start by getting in touch with our team. If we find you are a good fit for the services BrainWise offers, we’ll schedule an intake call. If not, we’ll provide you trusted community referrals to someone who can help.
2
Intake
The intake call is a 60-minute telehealth appoinment where we’ll gather you or your child’s history, ask questions about the problems you’re experiencing, and determine what tests make the most sense.
3
Testing
You’ll come into our office for comprehensive cognitive testing. Depending on your age and the type of tests you are getting, we’ll do it all in one day with breaks or spread them out across a few days.
4
Results
On the day of testing, we’ll schedule a follow-up appointment within 3 weeks to review the results with you. After that feedback session, you’ll get an in depth report with the results and everything else we cover.
5
Follow-up
In some cases, we’ll ask that you get back in touch with us in 6 months to review if medications and/or school supports are working. We may also recommend that you get re-evaluated in 1-2 years.
