What’s BrainWise?

Located in the Providence, Rhode Island area, BrainWise is a neuropsychological testing and behavioral health practice that helps diagnose and manage all sorts of conditions.

We know that receiving a diagnosis can be hard, but not knowing a diagnosis can be even harder. Our expert clinicians and staff are here throughout the entire process—from intake to testing, feedback, and next steps such as therapy or medication.

FOUNDER & CLINICAL DIRECTOR, NEUROPSYCHOLOGY

Jill Henley, PsyD

Dr. Henley is a pediatric neuropsychologist with a background in neuropsychology and school psychology. She also has a special expertise in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of concussion, which was the focus of her two-year APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship. During that time she worked in a busy concussion clinic in Pittsburgh, treating students and athletes of all ages, including some professional athletes. She is excited to bring her knowledge and experience back to the New England area where she grew up.

Dr. Henley is passionate about figuring out how kids learn best, which includes supporting them both in and out of the school environment. This means getting kids back to school and sports as quickly and safely as possible after an injury and informing both long and short term educational plans to support learning differences for kids.

Your brain is unique

“My child’s report was really refreshing in how it was written and how it captured my son as a person. I don’t think we expected something so empathetic nor so accurate in who he is and how he interacts with/interprets the world.”
